Honor 9X: Design and Display
The Honor 9X features a smooth back panel with a glimmering pearl X effect that shows patterns with light falling at different angles. There is a 3D curved panel on the rear with an 8.8mm thick frame to offer a comfortable feel and grip in hand. Towards the front, it flaunts a 6.59-inch FullView IPS-LCD display with no notch and a completely bezel-less design. The display boasts a 91% screen-to-body ratio with 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and a blue-light filter (TÜV Rheinland) to protect eyes. Honor 9X comes in two color options: Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black.
Honor 9X: Performance
At its core, the Honor 9X is powered by the 12nm Kirin 710F octa-core processor with Mali-G51 MP4, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB with microSD card). It includes a 4000mAh battery, which the company suggests lasts throughout the day. As for other hardware specifications, the phone comes with GPU Turbo 3.0 to offer an improved and enhanced gaming experience, AI Signal Enhancer to improve signal strength, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the software front, it runs on EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 out of the box.
Honor 9X: Camera
In the camera department, the Honor 9X sports a triple camera setup on the rear with an LED flash. The setup includes a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP super-wide-angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 120-degree field-of-view (FoV), and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the device comes with a 16MP pop-up selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture, 3D portrait lighting, and AI Beautify mode.
Honor 9X: Pricing and Availability
The Honor 9X comes in two configurations: 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB, priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. It will go on sale in India starting January 19 on Flipkart. For the festive season, Honor is offering an extra Rs 1000 discount on the base variant.
