Samsung Galaxy M31: Design and Display
In terms of design, the Galaxy M31 features a plastic body design with a dual-tone finish and comes in two color options: Ocean Blue and Space Black. Towards the front, it has a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, up to 420 nits of brightness, and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top.

At its core, the Galaxy M31 is powered by an Exynos 9611, which is an octa-core processor with Mali-G72MP3 GPU, coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB / 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage (expandable up to 512GB with microSD card). It includes a mammoth 6000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support, and runs on OneUI 2.0 based on Android 10, out of the box. Among other things, the handset comes with dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C, and fingerprint sensor and facial unlock for authentication. Moreover, the device is Widevine L1 certified, meaning you can stream HD content on your device, and also leverage the Dolby Atmos 360-degree surround sound support, to get an overall immersive media consumption experience.
Samsung Galaxy M31: Camera
For optics, the Galaxy M31 sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, with an LED flash. This setup includes a 64MP primary (Samsung GW1) sensor with f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP macro with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the device comes with a 32MP (Sony IM616 sensor) camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies.
